Era a primeira vez em Nova Iorque e logo no último dia do ano...

It was the first time in New York and on the last day of the year ...

Chegamos ao Hotel Plaza bem cedo, apesar do frio, estava um dia lindo em Nova Iorque e tudo indicava que depois do almoço iriamos ter tempo para passear por Central Park.

We arrived at the Plaza Hotel early on, despite the cold, it was a beautiful day in New York and everything indicated that after lunch we would have time to stroll through Central Park.

Eram quase 18h quando entramos no quarto, decididos a estar no topo do Museu das Artes e Design às 21h!

It was nearly 6pm when we entered the room, determined to be at the top of the Museum of Arts and Design at 9pm!

Um vestido vintage perfeito para a ocasião, do qual não se conhecia a marca, facto depressa esquecido pois vinha acompanhado por uns Christian Louboutin e uma clutch Kate Spade .

A perfect vintage dress for the occasion, i did not knew the brand, a fact soon forgotten as it was accompanied by some Christian Louboutin and a Kate Spade clutch.

Eram 19h 15min quando passamos a entrada do Hotel... uff, a tempo de passear um pouco pela cidade, mesmo numa noite frenética como esta onde uma multidão arrastava-se, desde cedo, para Time Square na perspectiva de uma noite memorável.

We passed the entrance to the Hotel exactly at 19h 15 min ... uff, in time for a little stroll around town, even on a night like this where a frenzied mob dragged on to Time Square Garden from the perspective of a memorable evening.

Chegamos ao restaurante ROBERT (no topo do Museu das Artes e Design) eram exctamente 9 horas da noite. O ambiente estava animado.

We arrived at ROBERT's (on top of the Museum of Arts and Design) at 9 pm. The atmosphere was lively.

Depois de uma refeição inesquecível saimos em direção a Time Square, também nós iriamos ver o "cair da bola"!

After a memorable meal we left towards Time Square, we too would see New Year's Eve Ball.

Depois de um resto de noite com muita dança e diversão quisemos um final perfeito: ver o nascer do Sol, no meio da Ponte de Brooklyn.

The rest of the night envolved dancing and lots of fun and since we wanted a perfect ending we decided to watch the sunrise from the Brooklyn Bridge.

...No Verão voltamos...
