Quando a Susana e o Gustavo nos lançaram o desafio de criar um cake topper que nada tivesse a ver com bonecos ou flores aceitamos logo!! Criar algo que fosse inspirado no convite de casamento deles era no mínimo interessante! O objectivo era fazer algo divertido, simples e fácil  de executar! A ideia surgiu pouco depois... compramos um "petite meringue pedestal" da marca Rosanna, plantamos uma suculenta num tealight do Ikea, pintamos tudo com tinta prateada. Depois fizemos uma espécie de bandeirinha que dizia "O Melhor Bolo" (inspirados nesta imagem) e com um simples alfinete, prendemos à planta! Agradou-nos tanto o resultado final que, com a ajuda da Paula Lobo, do Bolos por Gosto... temos o "cake topper" em exposição no nosso escritório!!

 

When Susana e o Gustavo ask us to create a cake topper for their wedding we immediately jump from our seat and said yes! Create something that was inspired by their wedding invitation was a great challenge! Our goal was to do something fun, simple and easy to make! The idea came shortly after ... we bought a "petite pedestal meringue" from Rosanna, a succulent plant and tealight holder from Ikea, we sprayed paint the all thing. Then we did a small flag that read "The Best Cake " (we were inspired by this image). A simple pin hold the plant! We both liked the end result so much that with the help of Paula Lobo from  Bolos por Gosto ... we have it on display, here in our studio!

Ter estes dois nomes juntos é sinónimo de beleza, elegância e imagens inesquecíveis! Desta vez o casal em destaque casou na região de Nappa Valley, nos Estados Unidos! O objectivo da noiva foi criar um ambiente elegante e moderno que não tivesse a conotação de "casamento"! O local escolhido tinha a quantidade certa de charme já que resulta da conjugação perfeita entre o estilo industrial e o rústico.

Having these two names together is synonymous of beauty, elegance and unforgettable images! This time the couple married in Nappa Valley, USA! The aim of the bride was to create a trendy atmosphere that did not have the connotation of "marriage"! The venue has the right amount of charm as it follows the perfect match between the industrial and the rustic style.

 

 

Natalie escolheu o Pomar de Maças para a troca de votos, uma decoração simples com cadeiras pretas, onde uma peça fundamental se destacava... o piano de cauda preto, que tocou Reign of Love dos Coldplay, quando a noiva percorreu o corredor central.

Natalie chose the Apple Orchard to exchange vows, simply decorated with black chairs, where a key part stood out ... the black grand piano, who played the Reign of Love Coldplay, when the bride walked the central aisle.

 

O esquema de cores escolhido teve como inspiração uma Catedral que a noiva tinha visitado anteriormente. O azul muito claro, pálido até, serviu como base para tudo, desde os convites aos atoalhados. Para manter a aparência "clean" do espaço, a Natalie optou por arrendar umas cadeiras desenhadas pelo maravilhoso Philipe Starck!

The color scheme was inspired by a cathedral that the bride had visited previously. A pale slate blue as the base for everything from the invitations to the linens. To maintain the clean look, Natalie chose to rent chairs designed by the amazing Philippe Starck!

A noite terminou perto da lareira exterior, rodeada de mobiliário moderno com um toque romântico e uma mesa de S'mores. Os convidados tinham ao seu dispor cocktails, cacau e doces e por isso divertiram-se até altas horas da manhã!

The evening ended near the outdoor fireplace, surrounded by modern furniture with a romantic touch and a table of S'mores. The guests had cocktails , cocoa and sweets and enjoyed themselves until the wee hours of the morning!

Este fim de semana o tempo esteve perfeito, o sol brilhou, a temperatura convidava a estar no exterior ... ou melhor na praia!! Nós, estivemos a trabalhar numa produção... mas trabalhar assim não custa e acabamos por nos divertir... Finalmente é Primavera!!

This weekend the weather was perfect, the sun was shinning, the high temperature was the perfect excuse to a walk or even the beach!! We worked the entire weekend but working on a Spring shoot it's not that hard and we end up having a great time... It's finally Spring!

Um casamento na praia! Dourado, azul, verde, castanho... o que mais podemos pedir num esquema de cores? As suculentas (esperem até ver o cake topper que fizemos com uma!!!) trazem um pouco de alegria a uma inspiração baseada essencialmente na imensidão do oceano.

A Reilly Gill, uma estagiária do Fig Media em Chicago, enviou-nos este vídeo sobre um projecto pro-bono que deu a oportunidade a uma série de pessoas para trabalharem juntas e mostrar a sua criatividade. Esta produção foi feita especialmente para o Evening of Bridal Luxury, um evento realizado em Chicado, nas Trump International Towers, onde é mostrada toda a colecção da Vera Wang! Este ano os patrocinadores incluiam Dom Perignon, Hefferenan Morgan e Belle Vie Bridal Couture. Os lucros deste evento reverteram a favor da Bright Pink, uma organização que defende e trabalha em prol da saúde das mulheres!

 

Gill Reilly, an intern at Fig Media in Chicago, sent us this video of a pro-bono project that gave everyone a chance to work together and stretch creatively. This shoot was made ​​especially for the Evening of Bridal Luxury, a Chicago event held at Trump International Towers. There  Vera Wang Chicago presents the designers current collection fresh from New York. This year's sponsors included  Dom Perignon, Hefferenan Morgan and Belle Vie Bridal Couture. The profits from this event were donated to Bright Pink, an organization that advocates for women’s health!
